The world is currently facing the devastating impacts of climate change and we are aware that communities including indigenous, low-income, rural and disabled are being disproportionately impacted. The current climate science tells us that we have less than a decade to avert complete climate catastrophe and ensure a livable planet.
We know the urgency of the climate crisis through the extensive research by social and climate scientists. Our mandate is clear. We must address the climate crisis at the speed and scale that science and justice demands.
Our goal is to raise awareness and encourage policy action by providing information to governmental decision-makers, non-governmental organizations, and the media so they can educate the public, generate debate, shape opinion, and bring about overall systemic change.
